In addition to older French, English and German bows, we stock the work of several award winning contemporary makers, such as Robert Pierce and J.S. Finkel.
We have a large range of hand made Brazilian models to choose from, covering quite a broad price range. Very good pernambuco sticks and nicely finished frogs, available with nickel or silver mounts. These have proved to be very popular amongst teachers.
Carbon bows by Coda are popular with students and professionals alike. They play beautifully and provide a strong focused sound. Most of the Coda range is covered by a 10 year warranty.
Other carbon bows that we supply are the highly individual German made Arcus range. They stand out from other bows in that they are very light and strong and are finding favour amongst many players.
We have stocked the reliable German Paesold and Hofner range of bows for many years and they are still one of our lead selling brands. They range from modest student priced bows up to their more exotic professional bows.
We have a selection of wooden, composite and carbon bows for the entry level player.
We do try to keep in an extensive choice of bows for all levels of player for violin, viola, cello, bass, including smaller sizes.
We are happy to assist with the selection of a bow, which customers can try in the privacy of our music room.
Bows can be taken on approval, to try before you buy, subject to proof of identification and a modest insurance fee.
