Ayres Violins stocks an extensive range of strings for violin, viola and cello from all the major string manufacturers, such as Pirastro, Thomastik-Infeld, Larsen, D'Addario, Jargar and Savarez.

Our pricing is keenly competitive and we continue to give a 25% discount off the manufacturers' recommended retail prices to all of our customers on all string brands.

We are regularly asked for advice on strings and always do our best to help you make the right choice for you and your instrument. The array of string types now available is enormous, ranging from traditional gut strings to the high tension synthetics. Some will suit your instrument and/or playing style better than others.

You are welcome to place an order over the telephone if you are unable to visit us. We try to keep all of the strings in stock and we dispatch our mail orders daily, so that you can be assured of prompt delivery.
