Discounts
The prices of strings and accessories are currently discounted by 15% off the recommended retail price.

VAT
All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. The current rate of VAT is 17.5%.

Goods Ownership
All goods supplied by us will remain the property of Ayres Violins until they are paid for in full.

Stock
We endeavour to keep all our advertised products in stock. If for any reason a product you order is not in stock we will give you the option to cancel your order, or you can wait for new stock to arrive.

Product Description
We try to make sure that all the product descriptions and prices are correct. If the manufacturer changes the product or the price we will inform you as soon as possible. You will have the option of cancelling or re-affirming your order. We are under no obligation to to supply goods to you at a lower price if it is obvious to you that there is an error in the pricing.

Faulty Goods
If strings and other products are found to be faulty, they must be returned to us within 10 days of receiving the order. We may return the string or product to the manufacturer for their assessment. We will only refund or replace the string or product if the manufacturer agrees to do so.

Order Errors
We must be notified within 2 working days if there is any discrepancy with your order on arrival. This includes damage in transit, incorrect quantities or wrong products sent. We must be notified within 5 working days if non arrival of your order occurs.

We will exchange goods if incorrect items have been sent or ordered, providing that the items have not been opened or used in any way. Please check that the order you receive is correct and corresponds exactly with your order confirmation.

Delivery Times
All orders will be dispatched as soon as possible by first class mail. We cannot be held responsible for any delay with the postal service once the items have been dispatched by us.

Post & Packing
Small items such as a set of violin strings will be charged at £1.50 p&p. Larger items such as chinrests, shoulder rests, Bass strings etc. will be charged at £2.50 p&p. Anything of a very large size i.e. cases, will be charged at cost.
