The shop staff are always happy to answer any queries you may have. The retail side of the business is looked after by Beth and Leanne who are both experienced string players, and can offer you detailed help and advice on products and instruments.

Valuations & Insurance
We offer professional valuations for insurance purposes. Ayres Violins are agents for Allianz Cornhill Musical Insurance.

Commission Sales
Selected instruments can be sold on commission. They must be in good condition and have a minimum value of £2000. Please ask for details

Approval Scheme
Our approval scheme is available to all customers who are trying out instruments and bows with a view to purchase. We allow items to be taken out of our shop for a period of one week, subject to usual guarantees and a small insurance fee.
